Active@ LiveCD includes a comprehensive collection of supporting utilities organized into several functional categories, providing a complete and self-contained working environment for system administration, data management, and security tasks alongside the core Active@ applications.

File management is covered by two complementary tools. Thunar File Manager provides a fast and intuitive graphical interface for managing files and folders on local and network-attached drives, while Midnight Commander offers a powerful dual-panel text-based alternative with advanced file management capabilities, built-in archive browsing, and integrated FTP and SFTP client functionality, making it a preferred choice for users who work efficiently from the keyboard.

Internet and remote access tools include the SeaMonkey suite, which combines a fully featured web browser, mail client, and HTML editor in a single integrated application, and Remmina Remote Desktop Client, which supports RDP, SSH, VNC, and SFTP protocols for connecting to and managing remote systems. Telnet provides a lightweight command-line tool for network diagnostics and port testing, while Xfce Terminal offers a fast and customizable terminal emulator for executing system commands and scripts.

System administration and disk management are supported by GParted Partition Editor and KDE Partition Manager for graphical partition editing, YaST Partitioner for advanced storage configuration including RAID and LVM management, GSmartControl for hard drive health monitoring and SMART diagnostics, and System Monitor for real-time tracking of system processes and resource usage.
