SeaMonkey Mail

SeaMonkey Mail is a lightweight yet fully featured email client integrated into the SeaMonkey suite, designed to provide a complete email management solution within the Active@ LiveCD environment. It allows you to configure and manage multiple email accounts from a single, unified interface, making it easy to stay connected and manage correspondence even when working from a bootable environment.

The client supports all standard email protocols, including POP3, IMAP, and SMTP, ensuring compatibility with virtually all email providers and mail servers. The IMAP protocol support allows you to synchronize your inbox across multiple devices, keeping your messages up to date at all times. Outgoing mail is handled securely via SMTP with support for SSL and TLS encryption, protecting your communications in transit.

SeaMonkey Mail provides a clean and well-organized inbox view with full support for folders, labels, and message filters. Filters can be configured to automatically sort, move, flag, or delete incoming messages based on sender, subject, or other criteria, helping you keep your inbox organized with minimal manual effort. A powerful built-in junk mail filter continuously learns from your actions to accurately identify and separate unwanted messages from legitimate correspondence.

Additional features include an integrated address book for storing and managing contacts, support for encrypted and digitally signed emails using S/MIME, and the ability to attach files of any type to outgoing messages. When running Active@ LiveCD from a USB drive, all email account configurations, folder structures, and stored messages are preserved between sessions, ensuring a fully configured and ready-to-use email environment every time you launch the system.
