Active@ KillDisk

Active@ KillDisk is a powerful utility designed to:

• Wipe confidential data from unused space on your hard drive
• Erase data from partitions or from an entire hard disk
• Permanently destroy data beyond recovery

Wiping a logical drive's deleted data does not affect existing files and folders. The process targets only unoccupied drive space, making previously deleted files impossible to recover. Installed applications and existing data are not touched or affected in any way. Active@ KillDisk wipes unused data residue from file slack space, unused sectors, and unused space in MFT records and system records.

When you erase data with Active@ KillDisk, data is permanently destroyed in accordance with one of several international standards, or using your own custom settings.

Wiping drive space or erasing data can be a time-consuming process. It is recommended to schedule these operations during periods of low activity, such as overnight.
